issues with subdomains resolving
Could anyone tell me why sometimes my subdomains fail to resolve? After a while when I ping it again, it resolves. Does it hae to do with the number of connections in Apache or a limit of some sort? Is it a TTL setting, I want the subdomains to be as stable as the domain the subdomain resides on. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like one of your nameservers is out of sync or dead. Do you have an example domain?

what do you mean by out of sync/dead ? The regular domains always work fine. Just the subdomain that I created yesterday had trouble resolving today.

when u fail to resolve the subdomain, what do you get if you tried to ping and tracerout the subdomains from your terminal.
Also, have you asked your friends on different location to try out the subdomains ?

Here's a possible scenario...
Nameservers a and b have different data. Nameserver a has the subdomain, but b does not.TWSites.com - Business Web Hosting Solutions & Server Management Since 2003
