    lol thats funny

I guess you could just buy a normal keyboard and scratch off the letters if you wanted that... or better yet just not look when you type

I never look when I type anyway

Looks like a keyboard that was malfunctioned coming off the line. Maybe they forgot to put the letters on a batch of keyboards and they needed to sell, therefore, coming out with the "Das Keyboard"

I come up with the most pointless things sometimes.

$79.95? Yeah, right....... I guess if you have money to throw away... Why would someone need something like that? Just get some white or black paint (depending on your keyboard)

P.S. I never do type looking at the keyboard, it would slow me down too much.

You can do that with any keyboard. I have done that with my old keyboard a while ago.

If you have the type of keyboard where the button to press the letters are sticking out, you can paint it without trouble.

    Pretty funny though.

I think everyone is missing the other unique feature, which is the multi-weighted keys. Very nice... may pick one up if i ever go back to using a desktop...

$50-$100 is about what I'd expect to pay for a good quality keyboard. And don't let anyone tell you otherwise: a good keyboard will make a huge difference in your typing speed and accuracy. I just wouldn't shell out that much money without being able to try it out first

It's cool. If I didn't already have a nice keyboard, I'd probably consider buying one.

I think the only benefit of that keyboard is the multi-weighted keys.

You don’t need to cover up the letters to be able to type without looking at them – I’ve a Logitech keyboard, and the letters are still viewable, yet I never look at the keys. Once you’re used to typing without looking, it doesn’t matter whether they are viewable or not.

You can increase your speed and accuracy with programs and so on, without needing to change your keyboard. This is a good site for learning how to type, improve your typing speed and accuracy and also see how many words your type per minute.

The point of not having the letters/symbols is not to improve efficiency but just to look cool - it shows that you don't need to look at the keys.

I for one would be interested in it for both reasons and if I needed a keyboard would definitely consider purchasing it both for the multi-weighted keys and the novelty factor. But I'm pretty happy with my keyboard, it has nice feel to it anyway. But as someone rightly pointed out, you cannot underestimate the benefits of a good quality keyboard.
