    Cogent's Last Days?

Cogent released its 2week and 12month forecast.

At 11:44AM their stock stands at

    Down 9.96 (45.88%)
Thats a big drop in a few hours. Is this group nearing its final days? or just a temporary drop in stock?

my guess is that its a temporary drop in the market and lets not forget Cogent is still a rather large bandwidth carrier. If they were to go bankrupt i'd imagine they would cut a few thousand jobs before that were to happen.

I'm still sticking by what I say, Everyone should get locked into a price point with their carriers for 1-2 years. I say prices are about to go up. Right now prices are extremely low and best time to buy

I doubt that they employ a few thousand people.

Now there's sound advice . Hosts only usually buy Cogent when they want to cut costs. It's simply not the best quality bandwidth.

OR if their offering unmetered bandwidth That would be my only reason for getting Cogent :x

Besides the fact that cogent suffers from bad routing in certain areas.

    Anyway, I bet it's temporary

I'm considering to buy some cogent stock in a few days to take a gamble... how would this be achieved?

I took a look at Cogent's stock today and it seems to me that Cogent will recover on monday therefore that would probably be the best time for me to buy it.

Looks like Cogent are still suffering from a bad rap. Even if they had the best network with ultra low latency they would still have trouble shifting it at high prices.
