    Sub Total $140.00
    Coupon (WHT3 30% Off) -$42.00
    Total Due $98.00*

    * $122.50 will be due on the next renewal date: 07/01/2005
    (Domain renewals billed separately.)

I Dont understand what does it mean?!

  8. #8
    Hello,

The Total Due $98.00* line is what is due for the remaining days in THIS month. (24 days)

The $122.50 will be due on the next renewal date: 07/01/2005 line indicates what a FULL month cost would be. This is what the monthly cost is.

We do this so all invoices come due on the 1st of every month, and not from the day your order. Much easier to manage that way.

    Hope that helps,

Hey just a few questions (great great deal by the way).

    1. How are reboots handled (send in a ticket or is there a remote reboot setup).

    2. What is included in basic management?

    3. What is the difference between the normal and premium bandwidth.

    4. Do you have a test file to download?

    Thank you for your time.

    Hello,

Here are the answers to your questions.

    1. How are reboots handled (send in a ticket or is there a remote reboot setup).

We can provide you APC login to mangage your own reboots, or you can of course submit a support ticket and we will be glad to do it for you.

    2. What is included in basic management?

Basic managment includes: OS Update, Standard Package Update, and Security enhancements, etc. Does not include custom script maintenance.

    3. What is the difference between the normal and premium bandwidth.

Standard bandwidth is our blended bandwidth across all providers. Premium bandwidth is Primarily Internap with failover.

    4. Do you have a test file to download?

Sure, I will be happy to PM you some links. If anyone else would like them please let us know.

Their order form has a "build your own server" type of setup to it.

It looks as if each 100GB block is about $10/mo

The prices listed above include 400Gb transfer.

To upgrade that to 800Gb on their order page is an extra $30/mo

To upgrade from 400Gb to 1200Gb is an extra $60/mo

2000Gb a month would be an extra $120/mo

10Mbit unmetered would be an extra $220/mo

I currently have one box with RC, sales has always been helpful in answering questions. However, I can't exactly say the same for their techs. It takes a while for them to answer tickets.

    GideonX,

Can you give me some specifics on that issue? I would like to investigate, because I have never heard that complaint before.

    Thanks,

    JW

Allocation of extra IPs take nearly 3-4 days to complete, and no status update is given during that time. So basically you don't even know if anyone is actually working on it.

Reverse DNS takes 2 days or more to complete. Ironically, I have a new ticket opened now for rDNS with no word back yet.

I hate to compare one provider with another, but these things can be automated and accessible by clients; maybe I'm a bit spoiled Those are my only gripes.

    No problem...

RDNS and IP requests are usually tagged as low priority, so thats why they usually take a bit.

I will see what we can do to speed up that process.
