Securing cPanel
Hi
Fairly basic question here:
I have several cPanel hosting accounts and I consider myself fairly clued up on web hosting in general. But to make sure I’m not missing anything obvious I want to ask:
What are the most obvious things people can do (and probably don’t do) to secure a standard cPanel web hosting account?
Any un-secure versions of scripts to avoid? (I know most versions of PHPBB are a liability)
Any setup options you can change to make it more secure even at the cost of functionality?
Apologies if this has been discussed before, I couldn’t find anything.
Thanks in advance.
