    i was looking at delaware issue past few days. Doing a search , give me http://www.incnow.com/ which is cheaper than thedelawarecompany.

    Just a note on this one - may be cheaper but I got a bad vibe when a pre-sales question's response came from an AOL email address.

    No, you don't have to do it in the US either. These are just companies that file required paperwork with whatever state you're incorporating in, and in some cases also pick up an Employer Identification Number for you (which can be done with a phone call) from the Internal Revenue Service.

    Anyone can file a simple one-page form to create an LLC or corporation in any US state by themselves; some choose to pay an extra fee to another company to do that for them.

    What you do need in the US if you are filing in a state in which you don't live is a "registered agent" within that state. Incorporation firms generally include that service for a fee, but you can also get that service elsewhere (law firms, "virtual offices," etc.)
