    Steadfast Networks - VPS Wait Time?

    Hi,
    I ordered the Bronze VPS from Steadfast networks around 8 PM EST yesterday (6/3). It is now 10 PM EST, more than 24 hours later and still no word. About how long does it take for them to set up? Their tech support does work weekends... right?

    And you've both had no communication from them to indicate why there might be a delay?

    In the first email (1st or 2nd June) they said there will be 24 hours delay, because they are moving offices.
    It seems the move is taking more time !!

    According to Ray, Steadfast is currently having problems with the main office's Internet connection and thus the ip-phones are down and sales response time is elongated. The company's top priority at the moment is addressing this issue.

    Network and shared/VPS servers are fully operational and these developments have not impacted network performance or customer equipment in any way.

    Ever thought of getting a VPS from somewhere else, then? There are plenty of other providers like ServInt and Liquidweb that can offer you a similar service.

    I see, so that would be why my tickets have gone un-answered.

    Edit: In reply to the post above, I picked steadfast because the price was just right and becuase of my friendly interactions with Karl before I ordered. Guess I just ordered at the wrong time

    I do apologize for the delayed setup, and in response to your ticket I did just say it could be up tomorrow morning, Monday morning. We have been in the process of moving our sales and support offices to a location much closer to the datacenter and, due to some miscommunication with SBC, have not had fully working Internet at that location, forcing us to work entirely from the data center, which has caused delays. Normally VPS accounts are setup within 24 hours, even on weekends and outside of business hours, as your order was placed at 7:30PM on a Friday, but the fact that we have also been moving our office has prevented that from happening.

    Update: I guess Steadfast has their offices up or something becuase I am getting replies from my support tickets (1 for an additional IP, 1 for a Plesk license issue, all taken care of within 10 minutes)!
    I'll right a review after I've had some time with them, but my first impressions are great!

    Did you took the Bronze VPS with Cpanel ?
    How is the server load ? Stable and low ?

    hosteasier.com took me 4-6 hrs too.

    I don't know why it's too slow.
