    Hosting Controller or Helm

We are in the stages of putting some windows servers online. We are trying to decide which control panel to go with.

    Hosting Controller or Helm?

We would be interested in getting feedback from hosts that have used both and what they would recommend and why.

We havent used Hosting Controller, but Helm. Once we tried to switch to Plesk, 9/10 customers were "angry" and we have switched back to Helm. It's very easy to use

Thanks guys we have looked over both some more tonight and I agree at first glance Helm does look to be more user friendly and have alot of functions.
Are both of you using helm now? How hard is the setup on this as we have never done window server applications before?

i'm hosting two helm box, one Win2k3 Standard, one Win2k3 Web.

the web edition have Helm Extension from HelmPlus. it make Helm a better soultion with extra addon.

the setup is not too hard if you purchase Helm software, WHA will do it for you. if you lease it, your lease provider should do the standard install and you configure it.

they have pdf on their website telling you how to configure.

you should wait for 3.2.4 because it have extra feature Application Pack that will allow you to install web app such as DotNetNuke and it support hmail (Opensource email server)

my Web edition box is waiting for Helm 3.2.4 to go stable.

Definitely go for HELM. Much better than HC.

I vote for Helm as well. Their development team has been very responsive to any concerns/suggestions we have had.
