Where is your server hosted? I'd go with CentOS 4 but make sure your DC is at least half clu-ed in regarding support

If your going to be using cPanel, I'd say with 3 as CentOS 4 + cPanel = bug heaven.

More/different security features and updated packages/security fixes for the most part, maybe some new features too.

According to Cpanel's site, they have certified Cpanel with CentOS 4. I'm trying to make the same decision. 3.4 or 4 w/ Cpanel....?

They may have certified it, doesn't mean it's not without substantial bugs.

True but I haven't heard of any anecdotal evidence now since Cpanel certified it on their website. I'm leaning towards 3.4 though since it's been stable for so long.

There's some pretty "interesting" bugs on forums.cpanel.net with relations to CentOS 4.

Yeah, never go with what cpanel says
ManageMyServices was sold by me in September 2009. I no longer have any affiliation with this company.

I never said that. All I'm saying is don't jump on the ship as soon as it sails for the first time, let it go back and forth a few times first

Won't work well, if at all. cPanel isn't 64 bit enabled.
