    Hello

Im wondering...apart from leaseweb. Are there any other european providers that provide good hosting with a gbit port?

Hehehe, so anyone with a GE uplink is a Leaseweb clone

There probably are, but we are talking about a single server with a GE uplink? Can you tell me if you put that to a use?

I am wondering if it would be of any use (apart from the marketing side of view) to offer that.

A GE uplink for a 1/1 cabinet would most providers offer, I guess.

I'm sure there are, but you shouldn't expect it to be cheap...
ManageMyServices was sold by me in September 2009. I no longer have any affiliation with this company.

FDC has gigeport too. I'm sure a lot of providers could tailor your needs IF you have $ for it

    *cough* FDC *cough*

To be fair .... i wouldn't think that getting a gige connection with a budget operater would do you much good.....the network still wouldn't be fantastic.

i believe "dinek" was offering some 2TB servers with 5TB transfer in Germany at some point. Not sure about getting gigE because most providers are going to be looking for at least 10% cdr of your port speed. So if you want a 1000mbit port you will need to commit to at least 100mbit.
