Thumbs up My experience with Dedicatedplace.com

I have some web sites that require good uptime, and a good management team. Having large system requirements, and a not so high budget, I have found after three months that Dedicatedplace offers an excellent option in this regard.

Their support is fast, professional, and they really do know what they are doing. I am not affiliated with them, other than that I have two servers through their service, and would highly reccomend them as a fully managed provider that meets and exceeds it's promises.

Yahh, after few weeks with dedicatedPlace, I also had another servers and 1 upgrade RAM with them.

The thing I like about DP is their tech support. Super Fast and super friendly.

A few color and font similarities, but that's about it in my eye. Layeredtech's is much better. Dedicatedplace really needs to work on the look and feel of their site. I almost offered to do a full re-design pro bono, lol.

Just out of curiousity, what sites do you have hosted with dedicated place? I have been considering dedicated place pretty heavily for my next dedicated server and look forward to seeing if you still feel the same way after a few more months down the road.

Ther Live Support (the live chat thing) is always Offline? How do you get your quick support from them? How fast they reply their support emails?

Is their support 24x7? Is it email support only?? (Since Live Support is always offline)

    Hi Betterlife,

Our Email Support is 24/7 but our Live Support is not yet 24/7. We will be training additional staff to be able to have more time for the live support.

    Regards,
    Charles

dedicatedplace.com - their domain established in February 2005. I can only see an "email support" link on their web page (sorry + some forum), no address, no phone. Honestly, the web site design could be better also. I think they still have a long way to go to match the other "top" companies..

Hmm, in germany you will get in real trouble, if you not show your full Company Name, Adress an so on. The law also says, the visitors have to get the information by no more then two links/clicks.

At least they are using the LT network from a whois:

    dedicatedplace.com:216.32.82.42

    Address: 18816 Preston Road
    Address: Suite #100

And from my point of view, they also look alike (by thier offers, payment-possibility)

    But they aren't in Germany

The two are probably very simular because AFAIK DedicatedPlace resell plain LT servers and then add their own management services on top as part of the package.

    Yes, I know ;-)
But at least for me it's more comfortable to know, who is my business partner.

Yes, there is nothing bad. Sorry if my first posting sound bad.
If they are doing thir job fine, and the customers are amazed, it doesn't make any difference to the customers.
