What is AMD 2000+ in term of Intel?
they said CPU is AMD 2000+. If I compare it with Intel, is that a Celeron, or P III?
It'd be comparable to a P4 2.0ghz if they mean an Athlon XP.

Although from personal experience, the Athlon XP 2000 is more comparable to a P4 1.6 (not starting an AMD vs Intel fight here, this is my personal experience with that particular processor).
Its higher than a P4 1.6 (unless its 1.6GHz HT
). I'd place it as a P4 1.8 to 2.0 GHz.
I agree it's more of a P4 1.8, not a 1.6. I dont think its exactly the same as a 2.0 though. Just different architecture I guess. The AMD is cheaper in every way though, (runs cooler, actual price is less, can be overclocked better, etc..)
I think you should avoid all these CPUs, Athlon is obsolete, some old athlons are sold as semprons, but soon, they won't even be called semprons.
