This may not be the right forum for this kind of topic, sorry if it isn't...
Anyway the problem is I can't upload pictures via web forms like imageshack.us. Other sites include the picture upload on myspace and ebay. I believe this probably will occur on all sites that have a form to upload some sort of file/picture. In firefox I get "this document contains no data" and in IE it just times out/stop loading. It also has affected the other 2 computers on my network but I can't seem to trace a problem as I just noticed it started doing this a few weeks ago. It happens on two computers connected by wire and one laptop with a wireless connection all leading to the same router.
Files/pictures can't be uploaded with web forms for some reason
1. Firefox displays "this document contains no data" on submit.
2. IE just stops loading after a little bit.
Sorry I can't edit my post but anyway I found that my router may be causing the problem because if I directly connect the modem to my computer it works fine when uploading. I also checked my ip with the modem it is different than when I connect with the router.
Sounds like your router has some sort of firewall built into it that stops file uploads, go to http://your-router-ip and log in, check the settings and see if you can disable the firewall. If the uploading works with the firewall disabled, you know it's the firewall that is causing the problem and that you need to tweak some settings. If it still doesn't work, you know it's not your firewall.
Thanks for the quick response, but looks like I ran into a problem. It looks like I cant disable the router firewall(dell 2300 w/ wireless) unless I change it to an access point which then won't let me connect to the internet. I can't find any information on how to disable the firewall for the router, which is really wierd.
