I am looking to integrate an application into my site that will allow customers (those that want a simple site and do not know how to use templates and HTML) to build sites on their own. I have seen a couple of examples out there:
What else is out there? Anyone have recommendations? I am with VarHosting (happily) and need to ensure that it can integrate at least partially inot my site infrastructure of Lpanel, Cpanel, Linux, etc.
I know someone who has made a site2you clone ...i'll ask them if they may have it for sale and then give you website address here . As for varhosting , man you gotta stay away from them ! I've just walked out of there show because of pooooooooor Service.
I have been using Sitezen, the pricing is cheap for the basic, and there are options to upgrade to their advance version per domain. Easy plugin for the major controlpanels and very easy to maintain. Just update once in a while and the updates are more or less auto.
Main issue it needs IE to work, something which I don't actually like as my default browser is Mozilla. Also the screen size 1024 x 768 is a problem for me as I like default 640. Other than that it works great.

You should give Soholaunch a try. Our customers with no knowledge of HTML usually have had a good experience running Soholaunch.

Here is a soholaunch question for you. If a client moves their website over from another company and it was not created in soholaunch, is there a way to import it into SohoLaunch so that they can use it to modify the website?
If not, do any of the sitebuilder tools accomodate that?
