After searching some on WHT I thought I had found a new place
for renting a dedicated server (Allmanaged.com).
First I tried to use the LivePerson chat, but after 30 minutes of "all operator are busy" i closed the window. Can't blaim them for not being there for me as they were busy, so I tried some hours later.
The LivePerson was unfortunately offline (I live in GMT+01 so I guess that's why its offline all the time I'm checking), so I left a message with my pre-sales questions and my email address. Didn't get any response for the next couple of days (I guess it was some sort of holiday over there, Memorial Day, so I thought I should wait a little longer).
I've also tried to PM sagomatt here on the forum and added him on ICQ but still no response.
All reviews I've read were saying the support was good, but what if I were a customer now and something critical was going on. Should I really have to wait until business hours to get my problems resolved. Since the website stated it had 24/7/365 support that would be the business hours (more or less of course).
I guess I could open a ticket (that was my fault as I found that out later) but I don't want to be intrusive and contact in all possible ways. Besides, the LivePerson message should have arrived to some sort of support by now, shouldn't it?
Should I wait, or continue the search for a dedicated server?
Yes, though we typically don't work the weekends (sales dept) support is 24x7 as always. Yesterday, I was traveling back from a mini-vacation, and although staffed, people were having to cover for me being gone as well. Sorry for any confusion with things, but glad that we got it all sorted.
