Connect to MySQL failed (ASAP please!)
Hi there,
I have problem to connect my phpcode with MySQL database.
You can see in http://www.sriwijaya.com/tes.php to know the problem.
It told that it failed to connect to /tmp/mysql.sock. I dont know how to fix it.
Anybody can help me?
Beside that i have a problem to create password for root to connect MySQL. i tried to change .pid file but it failed. Please give how to change it.
Does this problem has connected with my problem above?
By the way, i use Cobat RAQ4.
I really need this information ASAP and thank you very much.

well from the looks of things it appears that php was not compiled in with mysql support. For some unknown reason I went to http://www.sriwijaya.com/test.php and got your phpinfo page. Send in a ticket to your host, or if you admin your server you need to recompile php with mysql support.
