Status: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
Hello,
http://www.searchengineworld.com/cgi...ervercheck.cgi keeps on giving a "Status: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden" error on all of my sites on my server.
Examples
www.gamehostingchat.com
www.notemplates.com
The only one that doesnt give this is sleekpages.com which IS hosted on the same server but is hosted under root and has no cpanel account (it uses it's own nameservers as well).
How do I fix this?

I found out it's an issue with mod_security. Are there other solutions than putting
<IfModule mod_security.c>
# Turn the filtering engine On or Off
SecFilterEngine Off
</IfModule>
In the httpd.conf?

check your audit log to see what is being detected. Then, remove whatever strict filters you put in your mod_security config.
You can also put that code in a specific VirtualHost section, to disable it on a per-site basis.

Since this is a cpanel server did you just install the mod_security addon? and leave it as is?
