Cisco Engineer / Network Admin required for extra pocket money. One of our clients is seeking a Cisco engineer familiar with setting up Cisco 7200 series routers in a redundant/fail-over design. This is only required on a casual basis (main configuration, then maintenance) with the occasional emergency. The network is not in the USA so suitable for those network admins with time on their hands after some extra pocket money and not be classed as conflict of interest. As the network is multi-homed you will need to know how to configure BGP routing, filters etc. Additional to this, setting up VLANí»s to the RFC 3069 method is also required.
Once the initial configurations are complete, ongoing maintenance/settings will be required from time-to-time. Previous experience setting up a similar system for a ISP/Data Center is essential. Please also reply with references and a per hour rate. Payment can be made via Paypal and will be paid promptly after each main configuration.
