For my new web hosting site, I do not know what to do about domain names. In the past, I would charge $5 extra to any hosting package and then register domains from Namecheap. I do not really wish to do that now.
Can you give me some suggestions? I am also using ClientExec.
When the person orders hosting, can I give them the option of either a domain name or subdomain? If they choose subdomain, then it is quite straightforward. If they choose domain, can they be re-directed to Namecheap or something similar?
Is this possible in ClientExec?:
If someone clicks order, it will have 3 options which are:
1. Existing domain
3. Register a domain
If that is possible, then what would I do for #3 since I don't resell domains?
You will have to edit .tpl template file in the template folder of the script. You can than remove or disable the third option and place a brand new popup link to Namecheap for registering the domain.

Actually you should decide whether you want to be the reseller of enom / directi or not?
You have said you dont want to be the reseller. If you dont want to be the reseller and will just redirect the registration to namecheap then it will look really wierd.
Better you check the reseller packages of enom / directi first and then decide.
