    python2

I saw that one of the techs issued this command in SSH:

    killall /usr/bin/python2

He didn't start it again afterwards, is there anything to be worried about?

he doesnt need to start python. python is a programming language like perl. its possible that something was using python such as yum and it was hanging and he killed it off.

    hi,

    nothing to worry.bcoz,

Python is an interpreted, interactive, object-oriented programming language. It is often compared to Tcl, Perl, Scheme or Java.
The Python implementation is portable: it runs on many brands of UNIX, on Windows, OS/2, Mac, Amiga, and many other platforms. If your favorite system isn't listed here, it may still be supported, if there's a C compiler for it.
