    High CPU Utilization - Cpanellogd

Running the latest release of cpanel on a celery server with only a couple of domains. After updating to the latest release we noticed the CPU utilization went WAY up.

We trend resources using MRTG and have noticed the the CPU is shooting way up.

cpanellogd is the culprut - have been using top to catch it.

So, went over to forums.cpanel.net and not seeing any others having this issue recently and did a search and really came up with no solution.

Can anyone here suggest a solution for this issue???

    Thanks...

whats new......It is a general knowledge that the Cpanellog is a resource monster. You can set it to run at the 'wee hours' so that most of your customers will not be affected.
Or you can lower the priority of that process. That way it will take less resources but longer time to complete. I think some companies use 'NICE' to control this. You can also try using SPRI by rfxn to control it I think.

What you can do with Cpanel XP+CpanelAPP -------> ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Your competitors are cashing in with Cpanel XP & CpanelAPP, are you?
