Both cpanel and directadmin have almost same sort of directory structure, for example cpanel uses,
/home/username/public_html [symbolic link]
My suggestion is install cpanel in the newserver and copy the accounts manually from the DA server. You can use the scp command to cpy files accross servers.

Unfortunately, in this case, about the only thing you can do is manually transfer everything over. CPanel doesn't have a "transfer" option for DA quite yet, unfortunately.
It has a tool that do transfers from cPanel -> DA
This tool you speak of only works about half the time, if that, and is very problematic. Not exactly something that is the best to transfer the way suggested, not to mention reversing it to go the other way.
