Colocation at NAC but at 15minsvr prices?

    Hi,

I really like the NAC network, and currently have cheaper machines there like Celerons with 15minuteservers.com. I really like the 1000GB transfer.

I would like to colocate a Dual Xeon (or similar) machine there, but colocation with 1000GB is really expensive.

Is there any way to get 15minuteservers.com pricing on colocation?

    Thanks,

    Helios

You have to consider the quality of NAC's network, and the fact that most dedicated server users don't use 10% of their allotted bandwidth.

Try asking CRNC and Voxel. They both have NAC bandwidth and offer colocation services.

I'll agree with Hudson Digital. CRNC and Voxel are probably your 2 best choices other than to go direct with NAC.

What's so special about NAC's network? I'd actually suggest Fluidhosting if you want high quality Colo.

David, John and Harry are great and know what they're doing. They're also really friendly and reasonable in terms of pricing and other things you need

    Thats what's special about it...

Try going with another provider of NAC bw as the others have recommended to you. I haven't used their services but CRNC and Voxel seem to come highly recommended.

We have no experience with either but Voxel seems to be highly suggested around here...

Since most of the people recommending CRNC and Voxel have no experience with either of them, I should point out that my company has direct experience with both of them, and currently co-locate servers with both companies.

CRNC and Voxel both have excellent networks. As far as technical support, I'll have to give the award to CRNC.

We used to have a good amount of space with Voxel. Like I said, specify what exactly your demands are. If it is simply for webhosting, then voxel and crnc are fine. However, if you are doing streaming or gaming, then those networks are not your ideal ones

Without more info, another thumbs up from someone who has dealt with CRNC and has everything good to say about them.

I have not seen any negative reviews about CRNC period.. regardless of your argument of their network being only of use for serving webpages.

    what does that mean? ....

James ... simply a personal preference, not an insult to you or your company. I take back what I said about streaming media as it requires network stability more and you guys have that. However, your network might be fine and have no complaints from gamers and GSPs because your prices are low and they get good performance for the money but if you have ping chasers ... put servers on your network next to one on InterNAP or a few others ... and they'll easily pick that over yours.

All I was saying was trying to help the thread starter find a solution that will make his business the most successive but whatever i'll just keep my mouth shut then
