3 letter .com - I've bought and sold in the $1000+ area.
3 letter .net - bought and sold over 100 in the $60-$350 range. You would be very fortunate to find one for less then $200 these days.

Why? short, easy to remember and there are only so many combinations.

would having numbers in the make a difference?

ie summat like 6vb.com or whatever?

  4. The good thing is the scarcity (they are all already taken in the major TLDs). Three letter .com won’t sell for less than $1,000 anymore and if you have the right letters you may hit the jackpot and get a $XX,XXX offer from a business which abbreviation contains your letters.

If you include a number (LLN, LNL or NLL) the prices drops to the $XX range (except in a very few cases).

Yes it does. They are not worth near as much. I think the highest I have paid is $30 for a LLN .com.

you wont find 3 letters below $1K these days

but for 3 characters i think they are in the range of $15-$75 depending on the combanation, of course combanations like B2B.com or C2C can cost alot

They are worth a lot of money to people who sell them and that is what is so great because people are willing to spend a lot for them. They are certainly no guarantee of a wildly successful website.

I have been in many auctions on snapnames for 3 letter .coms

none have gone for less than 2k

and they mostly include q or z etc

While im at it, I was watching lads.com on snapnames. If anyone wants to spend 2k + on it, you can bid on it now!
