Well, given the fact that you can count the number of people with a real IP pop in Equinix-SEC with one hand, keep in mind that even if you purchase transit in Equinix-SEC, most if it will be backhauled back to 165 Halsey or 25 Broadway etc (There really isn't a lot of local peering going on in Equinix-SEC).
That being said, there are many providers (us included) that can terminate transit in SEC. I know CRNC just turned up a POP there too.

BTW - I magically received an email from an XO rep claiming they were in Secaucus ... (granted that its unsolicited email) - are they there?
They used to operate a DC in Secaucus (the city), not in Equinix Secaucus. I don't think they are inside Equinix Secaucus, but they are in Equinix Newark and one can do metro cross-connect from Equinix Secaucus to Equinix Newark.

XO had pulled out of their facility in Secaucus simply because they weren't selling it fast enough. It was very under-utilized. There is a big for lease sign out front....I think it's still there...haven't looked in a while actually.
Originally posted by wahoos20 If memory serves me correctly, Mzima, AboveNet, and WilTel are the only providers that have Ethernet gear in Equinix Secaucus and will not charge local loop fees.
Mzima, for sure, has FastE and GigE at EQX-SEC and does not charge a local loop (but you have to pay Equinix for the x-conn). We buy some Mzima over there.
