    Question Changing domain name hosts

Mods: If this thread is in the wrong forum, please move to the appropriate one.

My domain name printerboyweb.net is currently hosted by DomainDiscover, and it is expiring soon. The $25/year to "own" the name seems a bit much IMO.

Can anyone recommend a good domain host (NOTE: This is NOT a web host request!) that I can switch over to?

    Thanks

You should be able to get a domain name for ~$10 a year, $25 is quite a lot.

www.godaddy.com is only $8.95 a year, do you get extra features or summit paying $25/year to own the domain from the place you do now? seems stupid to pay more for the same thing lol.

I received a email from NameCheap saying my domain name has been transferred to them from DomainDiscover. YAY.

Thanks for all of your replies.
