I agree and ussually stick with the big names like godaddy, registerfly, enom, and so forth. I tried to register a name once with another register b/c of price and it ws just plain ugly. I personally like the stability and prices of godaddy since you can get goodd low rates and it is worth the extra $0.50 or $1.00 since there is little to no hassle.

Because at $6.99 per domain name, their net profit is probably around 25 cents per name.

I prefer to register my domains with companies like GD / namecheap / Registerfly.

My fav. is registerfly.com and I have more than 150 domains with them.
