just order a Windows 2003 web server and click on the my computer > property and it show 3.00ghz and 2.99ghz. the server is Intel P4 2.8ghz with 533mhz front side bus. if i'm not mistaking, only 800mhz is HT and not 533mhz.
I always believe that if you see two virtual CPUs then you got Hyperthreading enabled. You could have been even the HT enabled CPU and your web host just did not update their website in regards to that fact.
Open task manager's performance tab. Can you see 2 CPU charts? If so, you have HT. If not, you don't. (unless you've bought a dual-CPU server, in which case you'll see 4 CPU charts if HT is enabled obviously)
