    best way to migrate

    hello,

sometimes we need to re-organize domains setup in specific w2k3 server , to migrate to another one.

What are the best practices to move those domains ? re-creating domains at new server ? this sometimes may be time consuming , setup folder permissions, ftp, ....

Is there any solution for that ?

    Thanks

The IIS Migration tool, distributed by Microsoft

    Check it out here

I've used it before, works like a charm, be sure to read the documentation.

The target server can contain other domains, so long as there are no duplicates it should be no problem.

Disclaimer: My advice does not substitute reading the documentation
