Cann't resume


hi everyone

When i upload movies to my server, somehow my server disconnect or i want to pause for do something esle, later i want continue to upload then my server doesn't allow me to resume where i stoped or disconnected. Any idea ? thanks


p/s: Cpanel, FC1. I use smartftp , thanks

hi

You have to edit conf file for ftp to allow restart. After editing restart ftp service.

If you are using proftpd server, you need to use both the AllowOverwrite and AllowStoreRestart directives. The reason that both need to be allowed is that a restarted/resumed upload is a form of overwriting the file.

AllowStoreRestart on
AllowOverwrite on

It should be inside /etc/proftpd.conf

Yes,Thats correct, Now restart ftp using /etc/rc.d/init.d/proftpd restart and whether ths works
