    Local phone numbers

    Hello everyone!

I'm running an Italian-based hosting business and would like to expand to other countries.

However, I'd like to get local phone/fax numbers, either through VoIP providers or redirected to my phone number, to better accommodate customers in these countries.

Has anyone had a similar problem?
How did you get around it?

If you have a pbx or ***x setup, you'd probably have to contact local telecoms in those countries and ask if they can route the numbers to it.

VoIP will probably be the easiest solution in this case.

VOIP would get my vote, I got vonage a few weeks ago and so far I love it.

We use VOIP at DataDork. Vonage was able to give us local numbers in the areas we were looking to introduce our services into. I agree with the last post, as I too believe that VOIP will be your best bet.

    Good luck!

They provide local numbers for a lot of major countries around the world.
