    Unable to delete the folder.

My friend has moved one folder from old server to my new server via SSH and now I wanted to delete this folder but I am unable to delete the folder from Cpanel. "Access Denied"

    Any help ?

    Best Regards

Have you tried to delete it via FTP?

Most likely the permissions are set wrong. Are you in SSH as root to delete it?

try to delete through FTP or ask your host to remove it. if you are using an HOST.

next check your permessions, also there could be viruses too.

some viruses make the folders not get delete.

if nothing works, make an backup and format your drive.

check the ownership of the folder. You can use chown to replace to owner to your current owner name.

If he can't delete or otherwise modify the file, I doubt that he could chown it to himself.

The permissions are probably set wrong; perhaps the non-root user that you used on your old server doesn't exist on your new one, or something funky like that. As root, just chmod it to something where your new user can access it.
