If you can get a real Trinidad then grab it. They are very exclusive.
The Siglo series are relatively recent in the Cohiba family.
I prefer the Montecristo #2 of all the ones you listed.
I assume you are talking Cuban cigars here and not the Dominican counterparts.

Yeah I am talking real havanas
Out of a box of #2's that I have had, only 3-4 out of the 25 were good. The draw was tough and the burn uneven.
I am pondering a nice trinidad or even a davidoff - there's a company that'll let you mix and match a sampler pack
and 7th sign, what is it that you smoke (im assuming its cigars)

Where did you get the Cubans?
Montecristos are one of the most counterfeited cigars on the market.
I have smoked many boxed of Montecristos without a problem.
If you are buying from a source outside of Cuba I would stick with the non Cuban brands.
Davidoffs are the best on the market in my opinion. Also very good and not as expensive are the Macanudos out of Jamaica. Especially the Macanudo cabinet selection.

If you had problems with your Montecristos they really should have replaced them for you.
Have you tried any of the Punch or Romeo y Julietta series?

I was just thinking last night about going to pick up a davidoff. I go down the road to this little town where the shops are out on the road "Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks, FL" and they guy down there will roll them (not the davidoffs) for you right there in front of ya. Good Cigars!
I usually smoke with a glass of Crown & Coke. Looking forward to trying the cigars mentioned above, anymore I should try let me knowDave

Well I'm assuming the ones he rolls right there ... you should keep in the humidor for a bit.
Romeo y Julietta's are too bitter for me. I liked the 3-4 monte #2's that were good so I think it was just the box.
I am making a sampler box of
#2, #4, Sigo I, Sigo IV, Trinada Trujersomething, and Hermoso

I like to smoke a cigar once in a blue moon. I'm usually smoking the "black n milds" usually. I mean the reason why I smoke them is because you can get them down at 7-11 for 99 cents.

I smoke a cigar every year at the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. Actually we also have a Mess Night coming up and I plan on getting a few nice cigars for that.
I really like a nice cigar once in a blue moon. When in Kuwait, and couldn't drink alcohol, it was nice to have a cigar now and again.Rich

Never get to the point where you enjoy smoking anything else Kerry. It will save your pocket book.
The last time I went on a cigar run I bought 100 cigars and the average price was $18/cigar.

Black and MIlds are just in a different class ...
I have a bad habit when it comes to buying things that I enjoy BUT ... buying a small box of Monte's or nice havanas for 50-60 bucks is perfectly fine and affordable.
I don't know why the hell you bought 100 ... but then again, that 100 should last you at least a year ...

We don't have any decent cigar stores here where I live so I buy in bulk when I travel.
I have a good humidor so the cigars keep indefinitely.

i'm particularly fond of the backwoods honey berry cigars. man, they taste so good! and they are dirt cheap
i rarely invest in good cigars, mainly because i don't know which ones to get. i don't want to waste $20 on a cigar that could potentially suck. there's a really nice cigar shop in town. what would you guys recommend to get from your average local cigar store? i'm not looking for cubans or anything.

If you're in America and want to buy cigars, go for a Davidoff, the 2000's are good
Marijun, I highly suggest you try out a cuban. They're not all tat expensive as people make them out to be.
Actually, anyone on this forum interested in maybe starting smoking some cubans? It's a nice way to relax and tastes quite good.
Marijun, first decide if you want a cuban or a dominican made or even jamaican. Then decide if you want something light // medium or stron gin taste and kick
Then I can make you some nice suggestionsServGrid - www.servgrid.com - Affordable and Reliable SSD Cloud Solutions

hmm i thought cubans were illegal too. i guess you learn something new every day.
i am in america. what's the difference between cuban, dominican, and jamaican? different tobaccos and creation processes, i suspect, but what are the key differences in taste/smoothness?
i guess i'd be most interested in something of medium taste. i don't like the super milds so much, i always find myself checking end to make sure its lit lol i don't like them to be too strong either, i don't like the ones that taste like a big cigarette. i already smoke cigarettes, and when i smoke cigars i want it to taste different. i think i'm game for something smooth and not too strong, and with a good aroma.
if you have any suggestions for the flavored variety too, i'd like to hear em. i really like the honey berrys but they are very moist and don't burn very well.
