In a remote Windows Server 2003, SQLServer Beta 2 is not in the Add Remove Programs utility.
I don't have the install file neither the way to get it.
The .exe files I have are: c:\Program Files\Microsoft\SQL ServerMSSQL\Binn\sqlservr.exe, sqlmaint.exe, sqlagent.exe and cmdwrap.exe
I need help to uninstall sqlserver 2005 Beta 2.
You will need to put in the CD for the uninstallation to see if it works. Normally for SQL 2005, there is a sequence for the uninstallation, for eg if you unstall ASPX 2.0 first, you will find that you cant uninstall SQL 2005. Under the worse of circumstances, just remove the files and the registry entries. But I would rather reformat, an easier and cleaner option.
