That's like asking how long is a piece of string.

Could be one site, could be dozens.

They are personal sites. I've got a Multisite Site5 hosting account with 12 gb disk space and I'm hosting 2 domains at the moment.
Could I comfortably host 2 more?

I think the answer is probably yes. I have about 10 domains in my Site5 reseller account that I use for different reasons and give away to nonprofits and my space is only 4 GB.

It all depends on how much space and bandwidth you use. 12 GB is actually quite a bit of space for your typical web site.

Most definitely.

Most personal sites use very few resources. I would venture a guess that you could host dozens of sites without any issues if they are static personal sites.

Most personal sites would take up a MAX of 50mb of disk space... and most of them will be static content... 12000mb / 50 ... you do the math of course, if you have account limits on that plan... you may be more likely to hit them first.

also some may take up more bandwidth than others... but for the most part, from what i've seen on our accounts... personal sites are lucky to use over 5mb unless they get into putting legal mp3s up... then they start chewing some space

I've seen 50 sites fit into 5gb and I've seen 30 sites fit into 1gb. It all depends on how the space is delegated. There really isn't a formula.
