phpCoin is still free if you don't go over 10 sites. Their new fee structure is outlined here:

http://www.phpcoin.com/mod.php?mod=p...ode=view&id=14

Personally, I think they deserve to be paid. It's a solid script. First time I used phpCoin it only worked with WHM/Cpanel and did a great job. I think there's a Plesk mod available now.

If you don't mind a reasonable license fee, Whois.Cart() deserves consideration. This script works with several host APIs and domain registrar APIs, and it's a full-blown billing system. It's more sophisticated than phpCoin but will probably require more of your attention. Setting it up is easy, skinning it for your site is where you'll likely spend most of your time. http://whoiscart.net

If I read the details correctly, I think phpCoin's 10 site limit applies to new or future releases, but if you go with previous releases there's no limit and it's remains free. This sounds like your best option (assuming you use WHM). You can always go to the licensed release or a different app when you're ready to spend. Most hosting automation apps will have an import script for your database, etc.

It looks as though phpCoin licenses will require annual renewal where as Whois.Cart() is a one time charge per domain. As long as you don't switch domains there are no renewal fees. Visit their site and look at the comparison chart with other apps.

Some hosts offer ClientExec for resellers but I guess that's for billing only. You might check into reseller hosting that includes ModernBill, which I believe gives you host account signup + billing, I'm not certain about that. My preference and best recommendation is Whois.Cart() for the long haul.

I recommend whoiscart

it's cheaper than others (modernbill, clientexec)

if you just want something to create the accounts for you then it's a good script

others have things like support ticketing systems included...

Look at Tiny Tool, its free:

This can be integrated with WHM to create accounts automatically and can accept payment through paypal.

So what are you going to do when the fraud orders pile up because they know you use an automated setup?
