    ssl keeps not working...

    i have a dedicated server with apache/whm/cpanel , all updated lalalalala

    the situ is this.

    we have two sites, each has a ssl certifcate. orders are to be taken over the ssl so i cant afford them to go down.

    the problem is that they keep going down for no good reason (https stops working.).

    restarting apache makes the https work again but i cant keep doing that.

    The host tech said that its a problem with cpanel and happens to everyone. but this just aint acceptable.
    also i cant find any such bug^ in google.

    Please help/advise.

    Thanks! hopefully someone solve one of my many worries.

    Check to see if there is:

    <IfDefine SSL>
    <VirtualHost xx.xx.xx.xx:443>
    entry in the httpd.conf for the domains with SSL certificate.

    And I hope thoser SSL are on dedicated IP. SSL should be in the dedicated IP.

    Also you can try these:

    service httpd stop
    service httpd startssl
    ESC :wq!

    Try and check the SSL logs in:

    /etc/httpd/logs/ssl_engine_log
    ESC :wq!
