Make images / PSD's Published Smaller??
Im making a Banner / Slideshow for this guy.. The images are comming out in 200px wide and 300px tall.. But the FILE SIZE is comming out as 28KB saved under .jpg as 3 for quality..
Is there any way to make this image in the lower teens or maybe even under 10 KB ??
Thanks in advance
28kb with a lv3 quality is really low. You would have to either change the filetype [try png or gif], lower the file quality, or reduce the image dimensions.
Even a 28.8k modem user shouldn't have a problem with a 28kb image. I've found different programs offer different compression methods. If you are on windows, try MSPaint, PhotoShop, Pasting into into a WYSIWYG html editor, et cetera, even Microsoft Word. Other than that, I don't know.
well.. i have 3 slides.. ranging from 27kb to 33kb.. and the person im making this slide show is complaining the pictures are too big.. yet he insists on having a background in it...
after i finish the images im importing them into flash and fading them from one to the other...
