Pipex, BT Whole sale, I love you guys :)
Thanks to BT wholesale and Pipex, my 512k broadband has just been upgraded free of charge to the 2mb connection, I thought my router was screwed up when I was getting speeds of 235kb/s. Then I speed tested it a million times, and sure enough, its 2mb.
Pipex gets 2 thumbs up.
congrats on being upgraded to 2mb.
im with NTL and ive been upgraded to 3mb
Ah, but I dont have to deal with dodgy DNS servers that register even the biggest sites as down. Got rid of ntl because of that :p
ah yes. but i dont have to worry about a 1gb cap
there supposed to be running one but i never get any bandwidth issues
I've not got a cap, been a customer for almost 2 years when there was no caps, and its not changed for me. Ive downloaded around 11-12gb this month
This is the longest I've ever been with a comapny.
I'm with NTL, on 3mbit, with no DNS problems
Although I'd prefer 10mbit, for the same price, with no caps, with no problems, ever. But that would be too perfect, wouldn't it .
that would be too perfect
and BT do have caps, i have several friends on there 2mb package that have been caught out several times beacsue of low bandwidth etc.
NTL have caps too but I have never encountered them myself.
and the reason why u aint met ur cap yet is beacsue i think if memory serves its 1gb a day e.g. 30gb a month.
11gb month is not even half way.
i know mine aint capped is ive download way more then 30gb as I am a serious gamer
That is cool 2mb/down is quite a nice upgrade. Big different there...
I'm on a 6mb/down cable connection.. its funny comming into the office and complainig of 2mb/down downloads LOL
I am a customer of BT Wholesale, direct from the sourse
My line was upgraded the same as Philipf's from 512kb to 2mb connection.
As far as I am aware, the cap applies to the cheaper version, pay a couple of pounds more a month and there is no cap.
