How do I define upload_tmp_dir in php.ini?
Good Morning Everyone!
While installing Cerberus, I got a message;
Checking upload_tmp_dir...not set! (set in php.ini if attachments don't work)
The question is how do I define this in php.ini to correct this error?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Is this on Windows or Linux?
There should be a line in your php.ini that says
You need to uncomment that and set it to a directory.
It is on a Linux box. From what I gather that if it is not set it will simply use the system default. I probably hold off and see if I encounter any problems with attachments and make the change then.
Thanks for the info...
With Linux you're likely going to be okay using the system default temporary directory -- though it's pretty distribution dependent.
You have the right idea -- if you can't upload attachments, set the directory to /tmp/ (or the appropriate path).
If you don't seem to be having trouble with attachments, then your servers defaults are fine.
