apparently based on firefox 1.03, but has a toggle button so you can switch between Mozilla and Microsofts rendering engines..

I downloaded it and gave it a try. My recommendation: stick with FireFox.

I've been searching for something that does that, it comes in handy when designing layouts.
I still think I'll stay with FireFox.

Maybe their slogan could be "Doesn't suck as much as Netscape 6 or 7!" Then again, that could be too optimistic.

What's the point of maintaining it, anyway?

It's a pretty cool piece of software, great for developers! Ability to switch between IE and FF is very good. It's also very sleek and works fast for me....

Netscape never really was that good...

If I remember correctly, their browser 10 years ago is still bigger than Firefox's browser today... how can that be?

I used to like Netscape. I held onto version 4.7 for quite a while until too many webpages were created that are incompatible with it.

I primarily use Firefox, but also use Opera sometimes, but rarely do I ever use IE.

    Gosh what happened to NetScape?
Back in the 3.0 days, NetScape was "The Browser". Whenever someone said internet, I would immidetely think of NetScape.
