    PHP mail() function not working

    I need to run or use a SMTP server. My ISP blocks port 25, unfortunately. Are there any free services out there that lets use of SMPT in order to use teh mail() function? I have Apache 2, PHP 4 on a Windows XP Home SP2 machine. Thanks! Also, I have SBC Yahoo DSL. This will only be the host for one website.

    Sounds like you don't have a mailserver running on the machine. Try Mailenable Standard, which is free. Then make sure your php.ini file is set up correctly for sending mail.

    Thanks so much. So, just download this program and install it. And I should be able to use the php mail() function? Thanks!
