Sonataweb (oooh)
So I wanted the 5.95 deal because I'm _just_ starting out and it seems to be the best cheap deal there is to me for the following reasons:
You're limited to 30 domains on it. I like that they don't want overselling.
The deal was going away soon. That means they don't just offer super cheap hosting all the time and attract spammers and bottom feeders.
It looks like the best plan for me to start being a reseller with and then grow into larger ones.
So I go to sign up, Terry answers my nameserver question very fast in the forums (I'm not used to fast answers, so I didn't check back that soon, the first time I did it was there) and then because I ended up missing the reseller deal by one day, (it's no longer available), he sneaks me in on it- except the only payment option at the time seemed to be paypal. I don't have a paypal account yet, and I thought I was out of luck except for maybe being able to mail in a money order or something after I was emailing with him about this- until this morning I received a 2checkout payment link.
Joy.. typing in my credit card details as I write this. Thank you, Open Source Cyborg Project Man!So far I have not needed to make 31 posts thanks to the search function.

Dude, I still can't.. Tried both IE and Mozilla Firefox. I wanna check out the plans and prospects with them. Just not my luck, I guess.
It's no rush anyway.. I'll check it out again later in a day or two.

Working for me as well.. I didn't get any down time notice from any third party monitoring service for any of my sites (tracked even at 5 minutes)
As suggested, make sure it is www.sonataweb.net and www.sonataweb.info not .com
Razil: From where are you accesing the site, or do you have any firewall installed... also can you reach to any of my site, they are on sonata servers and are working fine..Last edited by NeoGen; 05-22-2005 at 09:50 PM.

Yea.. been trying .net as per suggested all the while. Tried .info and it went well. Only for the main site that I don't seem to be able to access.
Like I've said.. I'll try again in a day or two. Maybe in a few hours or so. Haha. There's no rush, really.

Razil,
PM me your IP. We do have a few IP ranges that we were forced to null route off due to repeated DDOS attacks against our server. It's possible that you are an unfortunate victim of them.
