Why you should backorder with more than 1 service

    Dammit!

I backordered a domain using pool.com hearing they are the best.

The domain with PR9 expired today and was picked up my snapnames.

    *Kicks myself*

Any ideas how much that would have been worth?

To be honest the PR usually drops after a domain gets released and is registered again. If the domain was previously with Network Solutions Pool never had a chance since NetSol & Snapnames have an agreement that all expired domains go to Snapnames first.

Yes I had read that after the auction had finished

Learned my leasson teh hard way!

The domain was owned by cnn.com, many links from nba cnn etc etc, it was used for a promotion. Pr probably would have dropped i guess, as most backlinks had been removed

It was a one off promotional domain. They only owned it for 1 year.
