I have herd rumours that Managed maybe unplugging 100+ servers without notice.
Is this true
What is the source of the rumours?
Perhaps that would help in determining the accuracy.
Moved to the correct forum.
From someone who was sacked due to them having no money
So a big reseller didn't pay his bill and they are shutting them down?
That would make sense...
But disconnecting 100 servers without notice or reason? I think they are more likely to shut down their routers and start job hunting.
I mean managed didnt have enough money to pay him, i think he was from the tech dept
It's amazing people even respond to these types of threads... when you have some proof or some credibility, come back and post some more.
This is all not true, so you can relax
I remember reading some threads about managed.com pulling servers that use too much bandwidth/resources.. something along those lines.
I believe your not allowed to use the full connection speed for more then an hour unless you have a unmetered plan.
So I believe it's like like if you just have 1000GB traffic, then your not allowed to use the full 10mbit or 100Mbit for longer then an hour.
(With 100Mbit your bandwidth would be wasted anyway)
