    We should try Paysat

    Hi,

I tried to sign up for the first time, it didn't work..I can think it was unexpected error because it works then when I try again.

Now, let me post a few negative/positive sides on what I see.

    negative:
    1. you must be with them for 1month and half the month before receiving your wire transfer.
    2. very new, not that many reviews.
    3. the About Us page doesn't have a lot of information.
    4. Credit card payments only (limited to VISA, MC)
    5. USD currency only at this time
    6. Payment to merchants by wire transfers only (kicking away suppliers want checks or don't have bank accounts)

    positive:
    1. low rates 5.3% + .39cents / 5% rolling reserve
    2. very easy control panel, and easily setup products/domains
    3. instant approval so you won't wait ages before the company answers your application.
    4. sell on more than one domain which 2co doesn't.
    5. free signup / 2co $49 fee

And many more to come by time, I'll keep you informed.

    Cheers.

    From http://www.paysat.com/common/Faq.aspx

Does PaySat support Memberships or Subscription services?

........You can bill your clients a one-time fee, or at any interval, using our recurring billing features
(Automatic Bill Payment where a buyer can pre-authorize a merchant to automatically charge
buyers Credit Card account on a regular basis. Payments may be made weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.).

You'e forgot to add something, wdi-home:

    Multi domain/brand support !

2CO doesn't allow multidomains under one account.

I cannot imagine how do they process orders in more than
48 hours? This is not efficiency at all, they should improve the processing speed.

Slow? No cavalry, that's better safety. What If a person with no manners purchased your services with stolen card and it was instantly processed? I bet they won't give you back their fees and commissions, thats if you didn't withdraw the money, you would pay a chargeback fee.

Regarding Paysat, I'm always wondering where can I see my net sales?

So, it takes 48 hours to process orders? Also, what currency can you accept payments in? I'm interested in US & Canadian dollars. Is that a possibility?

I think you can only accept in USD. Actually, am pretty sure of this.

  29. #29
    Only USD at this time.

columbus, where's my sales report? It seems there's no page to view your net sales after their fees and commissions...and track how much you have in payment.

Once you login, click on "my orders", then hit the search button to get a list of your orders.

  31. #31
    Oh thanks..
But I think they still need something like 2CO to put history of payments and how much they will pay you in next cycle. As I don't see this some where.

    I agree with you.
But they process orders slow maybe they do not have a good verification system? Or maybe they do not have enough staff to
process whole bunch of orders in a short period of time?

  33. #33
    I agree.

Exactly as you say, they're new..so, I think they don't have enough staff. Even their live support never comes on.

  34. #34
They need to measure their growth and their need of new staff equally. Because every day they get new merchants, new products, and new support tickets. I saw in their press that they have 2000 signups in 2months and half, thats If we said they began in February. Though my merchant ID is in the 27** range. I think they're doing a good job, but that means nothing If they don't hire more people to answer live support, support tickets, review orders (And this is the most important for us).

2,000 signups in 2 months could explain the current situation.
Maybe PaySat didn't expect so many signups in the beginning.

Exactly, I tried to say that.

And If we said that they have 2000 signups in 1 May, then that means nearly 1000 new accounts between 1 May and 15 May. Which means double growth.

Maybe, it was out of their expectations, but they should take some steps in response to that growth now, and fast.

    This makes sense too!

But is this 2000 signups a right figure?
As I know Ccavenue only have 4000+ signups as up to date!

PaySat has no setup fee and no monthly fees, that makes it easy to sign up with them even if you don't intend to use them right now. It would be interesting to know how many online shops actually use PaySat as their payment processor. Many people might have just signed up but plan to use PaySat at a later time or signed up out of curiosity.

On the other hand the number of 3rd party processors is decreasing so people might give PaySat a try. Especially in Europe the reputation of Norwegian companies (and Scandinavian companies in general) is quite good

What is Scandinavian? Is it a race of people?
