    Webmail without using port 2095?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place

Is there a way to access me webmail (horde) without using mydomain.com:2095 or anyother way which has to go through 2095.. The college i attend has blocked all ports reating to cpanel (2082, 2086, 2095) and i really need to access my mail..

    Thanks
    Woody

You can over Secured Layer : https://yourdomain.com:2096

    If 2096 is not blocked.

Yes you can use the SSL ports in case the 2082, 2086 and 2095 port is blocked. You can use the link which is mentioned by Rubal above. The same will be applicable for cpanel and whm:-

    https://yourdomain.com:2083/ -for cpanel
    https://yourdomain.com:2087/ -for whm

You could always just install Horde the 'normal' way on a web account of yours somewhere (preferably on your own server..). It's free software available from http://www.horde.org/ and it's just a PHP application so it should run under any normal web hosting.

You could try the C-Panel proxy http://myplace.dk/php/cpanelproxy/

another method if you have shell access to your account and it isnt blocked...

Create a SSH tunel..and basically you can access anything and everything with a tunnel.. including any other ports or sites...

oh crap! ive just managed to read the posts properly (without lookign out for tutor ) and i forgot to put the s in https yes stupid i know..

Hopefully it will work, because i asked one of the techies at college and they say they block those ports because of security, but if its on the ssl im sure it will work..

    Thanxies
