var sidebar_align = 'right';
var content_container_margin = parseInt('350px');
var sidebar_width = parseInt('330px');
I have a VPS and want to setup one of my accounts the following way
Let's say I have domain.com/?mforum=test124
How can I make so all such domains would also be accesible under domain.com/test124
domain.com/?mforum=gonow under domain.com/gonow
domain.com/?mforum=plazza under domain.com/plazza
and so on.
I want this done automatically, so every time a domain.com/?mforum=example is setup, domain.com/example also exists.
Look into mod rewrite in a .htaccess file:
RewriteRule ^gonow$ /?mforum=gonow
RewriteRule ^plazza$ /?mforum=plazza
Thanks, that works well.
The only problem with this is that I would have to edit .htaccess every time a new ?mforum=example is created.
Would it be possible to create something like this:
RewriteRule ^variablex$ /?mforum=variablex
Where variablex = any possible value.
So that if I create a hundred different ?mforum=variablex, domain.com/variablex will always be created as well.
RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z]+)$ /?mforum=$1
that pattern will match anything that is letters only. if you need more than letters, change the pattern accordingly.
wow, it works
Thank you alot, I've been trying to get this to work for weeks!
You should have asked weeks ago then
