i'ts a deal, but it just costs too much to add more ram.

    Xeon: Retail:
    3GB $350.00
    4GB $700.00
    5GB $1050.00
    6GB $1400.00
    7GB $1750.00
    8GB $2100.00
    9GB $2450.00
    10GB $2800.00
    11GB $3500.00
    12GB $4200.00

so is there any monthly option for ram upgrade?

A couple "Beta testers" on the servers, running the 64bit OS, said the SCSI servers were outperforming the opterons in their testing.

Monthly options may be in the works, but this is DDR2 RAM, which is a bit more expensive, but overall in another recent thread regarding hardware pricing most people opted for one-time fees vs. monthly fees.

These servers are all 1U SCSI servers, so we can't add in a 3rd HD, however, if you would like to request a custom quote, we'd be more than happy to work with you on that. We wanted to keep with Dell, and we wanted to offer them at a great price point, which is why we went with these servers. It's nice to see the racks & rows of Dells here though, as I just got in a little while ago to the DC, and they're really impressive to see.

These servers would be semi-managed, but if you are in need of full management, we can work on something for you. We'll be adjusting out the specs on the P4 3.06 1500GB server, and removing it from the site as we update this week.

Most likely we'll have something up for HostingCon on the AM side of things.

Wow, the prices are great for Dell quality hardware if it was managed, it'd be even more awesome! You guys finally put "powered by Dell" on the site, a great selling point Will allmanaged.com have these Atlas servers available in the future?

You can add full management services, and we'll be revising the current management offerings as well for Sagonet. AllManaged will eventually have these servers offered and advertised, but if you need these fully managed, we can do it as well.

What is the normal setup time? If I want this by end of business day Tuesday and order it in the AM tomorrow, is that possible? I'm looking for a Windows 2003 Std. box on:

    DELL Poweredge
    P4 3.06 HT
    1MB L2 Cache
    1GB DDR-2 RAM (Upgradeable to 4GB RAM)
    2 X 160GB SATA HD
    100Mbps Ports
    2000GB BW
    $0 setup
    $169 monthly

Please drop me a PM. Thanks!

I'm assuming these are DEDICATED 100Mbit ports and thus pushing 100Mbit cannot impact others on your network.

On the site it is charging $15 more for Windows 2003 Standard.
Is it true? It was not announced that it had an extra setup fee.

Also, the Windows version for the 64 bit Xeons is also the Windows 2003 64 bit? Or just the normal 32 bit one?
