    WHM - Account Transfer

    we are moving from an old reseller to our own server and i had to change the users passwords first since i don't have root ssh access and i get this:

    Error while copying account...! Aborting Extraction
    any suggestions?

    i even had the server admin try to trnasfer the accounts for me since he had root ssh access but he got a checksum error too when doing it that way....

    Sounds like the transfer had a timeout while in progress. Have the admin remove cpmove-iscout.tar.gz from /tmp and try again.

    thanks for the suggestion but if it timedout before wouldn't it again?

    No, not if the network had a issue from your local provider. The checksum has a mismatch..and needs to be deleted and recreated. How big is this site by the way? If its over 500MB, then the transfer feature will be no good if your on a busy server.

    Do you have a backup configured on this box on another drive? If you do, you can always copy the backup to a public folder and fetch it from your second box, and then copy it to the new servers back up and then use the restore account feature. We have done it this way for large sites up to 6 GIG's with no problems.
